Amazon.Uk order for Ireland delivery

I’ve received an order with a delivery address of Dublin Ireland bought through Amazon.Uk. My pricing isn’t set up for international delivery and I suspect there would be customs payments too. Am I ok to cancel it without impacting voice of customer scores or risking negative feedback? If so what cancel Option should I use?
Appreciate the help/advice. I’m guessing I’m not the first to come across this but couldn’t find a previous forum query.

Unless you can get the customer to send through an official order cancellation request, there is no cancellation option that won’t hit your Pre Fulfilment Cancellation metric. However, that simply has to remain under 2.5% over a rolling 7 day period, so if you could cancel it without risking that score, you can do that.

It won’t however prevent any negative feedback I don’t think.

You need to check your shipping settings though, as you are potentially setup for orders internationally.

Are you on the indiviudal selling plan or the professional plan? Pro is the one that charges £30 a month. And do you have any shipping templates setup?

It wont impact voice of the customer if you cancel the order however you may get negative feedback. You won't be able to stop or remove any negative feedback you get.

Also if you do less than 40 orders a week a single cancellation will push your cancellation rate above 2.5%. A single cancellation shouldn't get you suspended though even if it pushes your cancellation rate high.

All duties will have been paid by the customer as part of the price they paid. So you would have to send it via a carrier which supports IOSS so Irish customs know the duty is paid.

To be honest if your price doesn't support the extra shipping and you haven't got an IOSS carrier set up then it is easier just to cancel.

Also don't forget to change your shipping template to remove international countries.

Does it have Ireland as the delivery country?

As we have had customers previously who spoofed their address.

we had one in Gibraltar , who put UK as the country but had the rest of the address correct.

You just cancel it with the reason of “undeliverable shipping address”.
