Unable to list product for approved brand name- auto declined

Hello,

Creating this as a new thread. I ran into this similar issue by another user that got resolved.

https://sellercentral.amazon.com/seller-forums/discussions/t/11592dc9-c2f0-4035-80b3-fe7b79774bfe?postId=29b2f702-f0c3-4943-87c6-ef45d4619710&mons_idp_issuer=AuthPortal&mons_idp_client_id=sc_na_amazon_v2

Over the last 2 weeks, I haven't been able to create any listing at all using the Brand Name that I was approved for. I've tried reaching out to chat, phone call and email and totals 6 hours of troubleshooting without resolution.

Case IDs

-17884501121

-17916777751

-17965605501

Whenever I try to create a listing, it prompts for a Brand Approval. Then by doing Applying to Sell, I get declined because:

"We have closed this case as this appears to be the same request as a prior case you created. Our guidelines for contacting Selling Partner Support state that duplicate cases should not be created. See case ID below and lookup your prior case in case log for further assistance on your request."

I'm pretty stuck at this point and exhausted. I'm curious if anybody else can point me to the right direction. Thank you

@Manny_Amazonmanaged to help with the issue. Hoping someone can help me. Cheers.

" I haven't been able to create any listing at all using the Brand Name that I was approved for."

DO NOT CONFUSE AMAZON allowing you to list (or at least "ungate") an item or category and actually being APPROVED to sell a product. Amazon might ungate you for a CATEGORY, but there can be 100's of brands in the category and they ALL have their own restrictions.

Is it YOUR BRAND? I mean, are YOU in Brand Registry under the Brand you are trying to create ASINs for?

OR, are you trying to create an ASIN for a brand that YOU do not own?

It is pretty well documented that Amazon has been restricting the creation of new ASINs to the actual brand owners (and possibly some sellers that have been 'whitelisted' by the brand.

" @Manny_Amazon managed to help with the issue. "

Actually, as good as he is, what he said was THIS:

"Please allow the team time to review this and get back to you"

Once that OP provided additional information the proper team fixed the issue. The MODS are like gatekeepers sometimes and know what people posting here have NOT provided. They ask and pass it along to a different area and that is what ends up with the fix.

I just re-applied for the actual ASIN (instead of brand approval), the brand name I applied for was indeed approved, hence the auto-declination of brand approval.
