Declined seller application - why? Is this normal?

Hello-

We are a comic store who's literal job is selling Marvel Comics and have been doing so for 29 years. We buy from the only official Marvel Distributor, Penguin Random House. We meet all the requirements and provided all documentation but, we declined. Makes no sense at all. When asking why we were declined we don't get an answer. Anyone have any insight as to why?

Hello @Seller_0qlxpWc2OwkaQ,

My name is Dougal from the Community Manager Team and I can assist. @Seller_OvL8C4BJWiuS9 is spot on, you will need specified permission from the brand owner to sell the brand on Amazona and this can come in the form of an Letter of Authorization.

There is one other option and that is for the Administrator of the brand to grant you a Selling role for their brand via the Brand Registry site. This is a brand owned process and does not require Amazon input.

Hope this clarifies some next steps that you can take.

Best, Dougal
