Fake Positive Store Reviews

Hello seller friends; I have been doing my amazon business for 8 months. While doing so, I take care to act in accordance with Amazon policies. You know, in order to sell a product as a priority seller, it is necessary to have a buy box. There are also crazy conditions for owning the buy box. But the most important thing is rating (having positive store reviews). Especially among FBA sellers, there are stores whose ratings have increased more than normal in the last 3 months. While a store I compete with had around 60 positive store reviews 3 months ago, now it has more than 400 positive store reviews. (Do you think this is normal?) And these sellers are constantly entering my store and copying the products I sell. Since there are so many positive store reviews, I cannot get a buy box from them even for the products I have been selling for months. This incident also causes my sales to decrease. I opened another case about this issue, but the seller support directed me to the violation page. I noted that my competitor store had an unusually positive store review, but not even a review was initiated. What would you do if you were in the same situation?

which store is it? Amazon's detection systems are usually pretty strict so how do you know it's actually fake?

Depending on products many people get only 1 review per 200-300 sales.

Observing Amazon's feedback and review system, I've noticed a disparity between sellers using Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) and Fulfillment by Merchant (FBM). It seems Amazon's algorithm favors FBA sellers, as they tend to receive more reviews and feedback compared to FBM sellers. Additionally, it appears that Amazon is more proactive in removing negative feedback for FBA sellers, often without affecting their seller metrics.

For third-party sellers, especially those using FBM, the process is more challenging. Amazon seems less inclined to address fake feedback for FBM sellers, and their policy limits options for feedback removal. This dynamic makes it tougher for FBM sellers to grow and maintain account health.

In my experience spanning four years, I've observed competitors who utilize FBA experiencing significant advantages. They often have negative feedback removed swiftly by Amazon due to their FBA status, resulting in better account health. Furthermore, when compared to platforms like eBay, Amazon's feedback algorithm seems less forgiving, potentially leading to poorer feedback ratings for FBM sellers.

I believe it's crucial for Amazon's customer care to acknowledge these disparities and provide better support for third-party sellers, particularly those using FBM.

depends what they are selling i get one feedback every maybe 60 items sold but i sell media - people sell stuff that has special conditions and expensive stuff would get reviews more often. Cause my stuff is dvds and video games - people don't bother leaving reviews. - but there are the trolls that can effect your health level, because 1 in 60 reviews all you need is a few trolls in 3 months and can stuff up your rating. I do everything through FBA because if its an issue with shipping or packing the item amazon take responsibility.

I saw a store again today. It hasn't been a year since we started selling. There are 156 positive store reviews in total. He received 20 evaluations per day at one-week intervals. The number of evaluations it has received since the beginning of the year is over 100. And the number of products it lists is 45 :)
