Inventory in Limbo: Has Anyone Else Experienced This Amazon "Restricted Area" Mystery?

I'm scratching my head over an FBA shipment (FBA18T085XPT) that Amazon received back in January. It included 36 units of X004JJI2D, and they've been stuck in reserved status ever since.
I reached out to Amazon Seller Support (case number 17725562541), and their response has left me utterly baffled. They said: "We got an update from our internal team stating that units in pending are in a restricted area that is unable to access to enter at this time. We do not have a specific timeline of when it will be cleared. All inventory in the area will be kept in pending until we are able to have access."
A "restricted area" that's "unable to access"? Sounds like my inventory is on a top-secret mission or perhaps vacationing in the Bermuda Triangle of Amazon warehouses! 🏝️ Honestly, I'm not sure if my products are learning the secrets of the universe or just enjoying an extended spa day.
Has anyone else ever received a similar message about their inventory being held in a mysterious, inaccessible "restricted area" that's keeping your units in reserved status? If so, what was your experience, and did your units ever see the light of day (or, you know, a customer's doorstep)?
Any insights or commiseration would be greatly appreciated! My products and I are getting a little antsy in this inventory twilight zone. 😂

Hey everyone,
The latest word? My items are still in a mysterious, inaccessible area, with "no specific timeline" for when they'll be cleared. Honestly, my products must be on some top-secret Amazon mission, locked away from the world. I'm picturing them either learning advanced calculus or just enjoying an extended spa day in some hidden warehouse corner.
On top of that, a couple of my January shipments (FBA18RVL3Y76, FBA18RVCLXY7) seem to have pulled a disappearing act. Poof! Gone. I haven't even bothered with the reimbursement requests yet because, let's be real, we all know Amazon's idea of "fair" usually doesn't even cover your sourcing cost – which feels like finding pennies after losing a whole treasure chest, and then realizing you're still out money for the pennies!
And just when I thought it couldn't get more interesting, I'm now being told I somehow managed to stick an ASIN label instead of an FNSKU label on a product. I mean, how does that even happen when their system generates the FNSKU labels that I then painstakingly apply? Am I secretly a master of label alchemy? Now I suppose that I should photograph every single item sent. My phone's storage is already weeping
