Self ship sellers what have you done after the recent closing fee hike ?

What have you done after the closing fee hike, are you still doing self ship or have you moved to easy ship? Have you increased the prices or have absorbed them. What do you plan to do next ?

Do you see any chances that amazon will roll back this fee?

Increased the price and now using Easy Ship. Sales are low but can't do anything about it.

Observed some thing odd is beginning to happening 2 years back itself.

Ever thing was found to be controlled like sales,visiblity, no of orders per day, sales reachable per day etc.

Reduced our listings from 200 to just 28 gradually and impact of rise in closing fees is not so strong.

Many of the branded listings are mapped to other websites especially Desertcart and sold globally something to be ashamed of with this company for letting them.

For selling a Rs 55 product we have to pay 53 as commission.

Cant move to FBA as we sell seeds which has expiry dates.

Cant sit waiting for Easy ship who arrives at their convenient time for pickup and a lot of problems with them

Searching for other good options outside and surely it will be successful

Stopped selling on Amazon. We moved to Self Ship model in 2021 as our products are cheaply priced and Easy ship costs were making most of our payouts to be less than the Account Level Reserve causing us to not receive any payouts for weeks at times 2 months at a stretch.

We struggled to even take out the GST amount forget about salaries and supplier costs despite of having a 2 lac balace in both COD and Electronic Wallet. Our suppliers started pulling us apart.

It was all good till the self ship model had sensible fee structure but since April 7th 2025 we decided to finally stop selling on Amazon.

SADLY AMAZON INDIA MARKETPLACE IS NOW TOO EXPENSIVE FOR SMALL AND MEDIUM SCALE SELLERS. BAD MANAGEMENT, BAD POLICIES AND BAD FEE STRUCTURE HAS CAUSED US TO OPT OUT OF AMAZON.
