LABEL PROBLEM Buy Shipping in Bulk
Hi everyone. As you can see from the attached image, we are having trouble printing RM 1st Class Small Letter labels.
All have been printing fine for months, but this week 1 in 5 prints are off the label, thus wasting the label. I understand we can request a refund and purchase a new label. But this is very slow and laborious when we are processing 200+ items a day.
There’s no problem with our Zebra Printer. We use it for Evri and RM Large Letters all day with no issues. It’s just Amazon Buy Shipping.
Does anyone have a solution?

This might be helpful, or might not depending on your setup.
Because of issues, I don’t print directly to the printer, but drag and drop the generated label image to the printer. Takes 2 or 3 seconds longer, but I don’t have problems.

Yes its slow and laborious to process orders individually.

Have you tried to download PDF file for your label and print through Zebra printer. Print label page and skip packaging slip when printing. You can do crop and make setting in the PDF editor to set your label. This is one time you need to learn PDF settings than you can repeat on each order.
When you download bulk label in PDF with packaging slips, you can remove packaging slip via page organise feature in the PDF editor. Thank you can print all labels in one go.
Please do remember that each time you try to buy shipping label the PDF radio button is selected otherwise your will end up PNG format of your file download.
In the past we used this PDF editor for the label we bought from ROYAL MAIL website where they send label with slip for the post office on A4 page and than we crop the label area showing and print on the Zebra 420d - 4 x 6 label.

amazon postage and label printing has always been a shambles, something stuck in the 90s - if you try RM click and drop for 5 seconds you’d never go back - of course the arm up your back is the ‘buy shipping though amazon’ situation

I’ve been having the same issue over the last week.
I just claim a postage refund & then print a label through Click & Drop as I did in the good old days before we had to buy postage on Amazon.
Although I am not sure how this works with VTR ratings?
The item shows as shipped, the customer will receive the item but I do not know how Amazon will view this through their metrics?
I agree that as this is an Amazon issue it will be sorted by them & any issues regarding VTR will be deemed to be an Amazon issue.
Will see what happens on Monday when I start posting again, lets hope they are aware of this issue & their IT team are working tirelessly on it over the weekend lol

we have been having the same issue, it started about 5 days ago for us too.
I dont think it has anything to do with the printer (I have tried both with a printer and just batch file creation) when you click the “buy shipping” button the zip file created as the issue for some not all labels, makes no difference if you use QZ Tray or not, or you print using 4x6 labels or 8.5inx11, I have also tried to print just the large letter as a first print then letters as a second print and even then you still get the issue within the batch file.
I have also opened a case with SS and their response is
“Our internal team has completed their review and it is found that once you purchase a shipping label, its layout cannot be changed. If the seller needs to change the layout / orientation of the shipping label, they can refund the shipping label and purchase the same shipping label but specifying the correct label layout before re-purchasing”
Which is not a solution that works, I have tried to explain the issue again and am waiting for their copied and pasted reply.
