Want to use EAN assigned to deleted ASIN with new ASIN, how?!

I deleted a listing a few days ago, this listing used to have an ASIN and an EAN, after I deleted this listing, I want to add a new listing, but with the same EAN that I used with the deleted ASIN.

Now, the system is not allowing me to add new attributes like flavor and title, saying that the EAN I am using is assigned to deleted ASIN and I have to be stuck to the same attributes I provided before to the deleted ASIN.

How can I unassign this EAN from the deleted ASIN so I can provide new attributes to this new listing.

That is not possible. Each EAN stays connected to the ASIN you created forever. No matter if you deleted the ASIN from your "Manage Inventory". The ASIN remains forever in Amazon's database. You have to take a new UPC from GS1.

Hello @Seller_dVdKpJIWSCDzA,

Thanks for posting to the Forums. If you used an EAN with a product, which is a type of a Product ID (GTIN), then this means the EAN will associate to the product as it got registered in the Amazon catalog. This means you will not be able to use the same EAN, even after deleting the ASIN.
