FEEDBACK REMOVAL. Why do Amazon make no effort to help customers?!
So a guy buys an item we list as "open box/ used". He then receives the item and complains its box opened. We direct him to a screenshot of the product showing we've advertised it correctly but in the mean time he's left us a 2 star review. He then agrees that the feedback wasn't correct and that he should remove it. We give him specific instruction on how to remove the feedback but he cant as its not an option within his account.
We ask Amazon for support as its clearly documented in our conversations that we both want the negative feedback removed but Amazon are too lazy to get involved and insist the customer does it. We go back and forth stating that the customer cannot do it so instead of Amazon simply removing the feedback, we have to raise a feedback removal request. None of the removal request criteria are relevant to what the customer wrote so it will be refused.
Its just utterly draining and pathetic

That's a good summary, utterly draining and pathetic. It also, like most things on here, defies all logic. Guess that's what you get when you try and work around cheap AI.

have you tried sending the buyer the link to remove 3rd party seller feedback below?

It should take them straight to it.

I feel your pain. We sell items in a pack of 12 (FBA) very clearly marked in retail packaging. One day, Amazon decided to send about 50 individual items which led to a flurry of 1* reviews, they refused to remove them as the customer is entitled to their opinion.

Astounding stuff from amazon here. We had some feedback
"these items were not delivered when stated but left outside a day later not handed by resident as stated, will be not be using amazon again, cant be trusted"
Appealed it (not thinking it would be removed) but amazon have instead struck it through stating Message from Amazon:"The fulfilment issues associated with this order were not due to the seller"
We don't use FBA, we don't use Amazon Buy Shipping. Amazon have literally in this one taken the customer at their word that I assume, amazon can't be trusted so assumed that amazon handled the shipping of this order, even though they didn't!

This is Amazon for you. They make absolutely no effort to help SP with issues such as this. The support that they give us is abysmal - they know that they offer the marketplace with the most buyers to SP's and they expect that that should be good enough for us.
The fact that there isn't a competitor who does value their SP with a similar level of traffic means that we'll always be taken advantage of.

Seller Support has to be the most frustrating part of Amazon, whoever designed the bot clearly doesn't work for Amazon anymore.
Nobody knows how it works or how to turn it off, it just copies masses of outdated policy's, and then pastes it as an answer back to you. (time after time) until you get fed up !
I don't think anyone really takes any notice of Amazon reviews anymore if Amazon cant be bothered to make their own platform better, then why bother worrying.
