Multiple Account Violation please help

Hi Everyone, I am mew to amazon seller central. I recently created an account on amazon and it got deactivated. I got the message that I do have multiple accounts on amazon, but in fact I never had any account on amazon before this was my first account. Now amazon is asking me to provide them with a proof that shows I never had any account on amazon before. I don’t know what to provide them. Please tell me what should I provide them that shows I never had any accounts. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Thank you for the information provided regarding concerns with your account. I understand that our team has found an association between your account and another. The notification received should have the name of the other account that you are associated to. Did you recognize the name?

Our team only allows for multiple accounts as long as they all remain in a good standing. If any of them were to move into an impacted status, then it would cause any other account you are associated with to see disruptions. The resolution will depend on how you are associated to the other account.

If you were previously associated to the account, then you would need to provide information showing that. This would be documents such as a contract or termination agreement that shows the extent of the relationship that may have existed.

If you were the owner of the other account, then you would need to take action to resolve the issues impacting to be able to proceed. Our team will not allow you to move forward until the previous concerns have been resolved.

Please continue to refer to this thread with any future questions or updates on this situation.

Best,

Atlas

This is compiled information for reports of suspension, due to multiple accounts.

In general, having 2 accounts is not a violation, unless those 2 accounts sell the same type products or the first account is suspended. The 2 accounts can NEVER interact with each other in any way.

Check Amazon's multiple account policy for more details.

If you are not aware of having EVER opened, or attempted to open another account,

you can look into the following suggestions:

Check with everyone that may have used the internet in your home to sign into Amazon,

or anyone who's internet you have used to sign into yours and see if anyone of them has at ANY TIME attempted or succeeded to open an account.

Note, public hubs (such as hotels and coffee shops) should not cause this issue

- Have you had any third party assisting you with the account?

- Who all has user permissions within the account?

- If applicable, what is your relationship to these people?

- Is this an ongoing relationship or has the contact between yourself and these other entities been terminated? If so when?

- Do any of these individuals have their own selling accounts? Examples could be family members, current or former employees, or third party entities.

- If so, what information could have been shared between the accounts?

- If applicable, do these individuals still have access to your account specifically?

- What devices have been used to access the account?

- What is the timeline of contact with the other account?

- Do you know the name and/or owner of the other account?

- Check with anyone that has access to your e-mail address, credit card or bank account on file with Amazon (That includes buyer accounts!!!)

- Check Global accounts and see if there are any issues/suspensions

- If you have in fact previously attempted to open an account, you will NOT be able to reactivate the second account. You MUST work with the first account.

Lastly, consider your buyer account. Have you added an address or credit card associated with someone else that has a seller account?
