Amazon refused to remove feedback despite meeting criteria for feedback removal
We have had a customer leave negative feedback which states only the following -
“It’s not leather at all by any means”
To us it seems like the feedback should automatically meet Amazons criteria for feedback removal due to the reason that “The entire feedback comment is a product review.”
We have contacted Amazon to make a Feedback removal request for this multiple times. Moreover we are a personalised greetings card manufacturer. We do NOT sell or claim to sell any leather products. Which makes this seem even more ridiculous. We have contacted the customer who accepts that this feedback was made by mistake, but despite our best efforts to explain how to remove the feedback from their end they cant seem to do it or do not want to make the effort.
We are only a very small personalised greeting card manufacturer and 1 negative feedback really has quite a big impact on our overall feedback rating percentage. Is there nobody who can help with this?

We had the same thing, rejected removal, say its customers opinion but ours is for someone elses product, for something we do not stock or sell! Description of product is in feedback and Amazon can clearly see its not for us… but they refused to remove.

I totally agree that feedback so obviously left for the wrong product, especially when the seller doesn’t even sell in that category, should be removed - maybe they should add that to the criteria for removal ?! - though doubt it would ever happen.

Agree with this in general. Just had a customer leave a negative review - they purchased an item in a green/purple colourway then blamed us for sending the wrong item as they wanted a blue/red one (which we have never listed or sold and I don’t know if that colourway even exists on a similar product). They also expressed why should they have to pay postage (to have the item delivered) even though it’s included in the item price, wanted a free return, then message me to say they are keeping the item! It boils my blood that inaccuate feedback is allowed to remain because it doesn’t meet the criteria of being ‘obscene language’ or relates to FBA.
