Legal Actions? Stuck in 6+ Month Removal Order Limbo
I placed a removal order for approximately 1,000 units of inventory six months ago. However, 411 units are still missing, representing over $20,000 worth of inventory. The only advice I've received from Amazon so far is to either continue waiting or cancel the removal order and place it again.
Unfortunately, parts of my original order were automatically canceled by Amazon, leading to a situation where I'm now managing around ten separate removal orders. For reference, here are the removal order IDs: 240209OL3, 2402241IE3, 76NZiM+7yk, 2405091LGH, 2405211AXU, 24060316S4, 2406041E3Z, 240809O5C, 240809O65.
I've reached out through multiple support cases seeking help, but I continue to receive the same responses:
- "The removal orders can take up to 90 days."
- "Please wait up to 150 days, then call back again."
- "These units are in 'Pending Picking' and 'Being Picked' conditions. These conditions cannot be expedited by the FC."
- "We request that you wait for processing to be completed or submit a cancellation request and resubmit the removal once it is closed."
A personal favorite:
- "If you cancels their removal order, they will have to wait for cancellation to finalize, and then submit a new removal order. Removal orders are processed in based of First In - First Out. The new removal order will be moved to the back of the queue. However, if the removal has been pending for an unusually long time (>150 days), cancellation might then be advised because the removal order might be stuck."
Given this logic, my removal orders should be prioritized by now. However, the suggestion remains to cancel and resubmit, which places the order back at the end of the queue...
My main concern now is whether I have any legal recourse. This situation has been extremely frustrating, and if it's not resolved soon, I may be forced to leave the platform altogether.
