Account Deactivated due to "Inauthentic" Product Sold 10 months ago
I placed my account on vacation mode April 26, 2024. April 27 I received an email that my account was deactivated due to an item being "inauthentic". Last time this ASIN got sold in my account was June 2023 (10 months ago). In the same month of 2023 I also stopped selling all products under this brand as I received a listing violation for one of the other ASINs under their brand. I acknowledged my mistake and never sold again any of their products.
For this current deactivation, I was asked for an invoice or receipt dated within 365 days. However, I only have one from February 2023. I submitted that receipt (for 1 piece, directly from the brand's website). I placed it in the explanation that I do not have any receipt within 365 days as this transaction was long ago but it DOES show the item was directly from brand, it shows quantity; I also sent the prep center invoice showing 1 piece of same ASIN, and the shipment of Amazon plus the sale of the item in June 2023 for 1 piece. My account was still rejected for reactivation. I appealed thrice and all 3x I was asked for a more recent invoice which of course I cannot provide.
What else can I submit to show authenticity of the item? Where can I direct this issue to a customer service who can review this and to whom I can explain the dates being beyond 365 days? Would appreciate tips and assistance on this. Thank you very much.

Unless you can provide what Amazon is asking for, your account won't be reinstated. Amazon has a very long memory and to them, it matters not when you sold the item but that you sold the item.
This sounds like you sourced your product directly from the brand's retail website. In that case, you'd be considered the end customer with a receipt rather than an invoice and the product couldn't be listed as New in Amazon's view.
It may help to post your deactivation notice to see exactly what Amazon wrote, but from your post, I don't think there's hope for you to be reinstated.
What's the item in question that you sold? If it's anything from Nike, Adidas or a similar major brand, you definitely won't be reinstated.

Hello @Seller_74tn9ussArvgm
Thank you for the information provided regarding the issues that have occurred with the account. I understand that the action against your account was taken in April of this year, but the last item sold for this ASIN was in June of 2023. If there were sales associated to the listing, then you would need to provide documentation to show the sourcing.
When it comes to the requirements for sourcing documentation, it does need to be within 365 days. You can attempt to provide an explanation of the situation and why this has occurred, but we cannot guarantee a resolution will be available.
If you have a copy of the messaging or any case information, please provide it so that we can further review this situation. We encourage you to continue to refer to this thread to avoid any confusion on this situation.
Best,
Atlas

Hello @Seller_74tn9ussArvgm,
Thank you for following up on the situation.
As you had previously noted the invoice did not meet our expectation, due to this the situation cannot be accurately address per the provided requirements. All sourcing documentation needs to be dated in the last 365 days and meet a number of standards. I would recommend checking out the responsible sourcing help page for verification.
This is a dispute only scenario thus we cannot accept a plan of action or explanation for these situations anymore. At this time, if there are no sourcing documentation that meet these requirements, the account will remain deactivated.
The forums community and I are here to support you. Please let us know how we can help you from this point forward.
Emet.

Greetings @Seller_74tn9ussArvgm,
As previously stated by @Emet_Amazon and @Atlas_Amazon, we are unable to guarantee the reactivation of your account based off of the information you are attempting to provide.
The paths you have been provided in the "submit new information" button on your account health page will be the only way you have to submit information at this time.
Are you the only person who creates and lists products on the account? Is there ever a time the ASIN was relisted or, potentially, accidentally added to an FBA shipment or back into your inventory?
Do you have a sales contract or letter of authorization from the brand for the time when you were selling these items?
All the best,
Stevie
