I became a perpetual traveler. My old USA company was no longer beneficial. I opened a non-resident LTD (UK) and I wanted that to be my legal entity for Amazon.

I posted on the forums to try and figure out how to change the legal entity country of origin. No one knew how. Everyone's suggestion led to no progress.

So I tried an idea that I did not agree with at first, but I had no other alternative. I applied to open a second account with a different email address. I was denied instantly.

I reached out to Seller Support through the second account and asked why I was denied so quickly. They replied back that they detected that I have another account. They requested a legitimate business reason to open a second account along with the email address associated with my first account.

I replied back giving them the email associated with my first account along with my the merchant ID associated with the first account. I mentioned that I needed to change the legal entity country of origin and that is why I needed to open a second account.

I was then granted permission to have the second account but I still needed to verify it with a utility bill. Once it was fully verified, I started using the second account and let the inventory run out for my first account. All I did was just add the ASINS I am currently selling to the second account and when I needed to replenish, I replenished with the second account. The legal entity country of origin is now correct.

@Micah_AmazonI am going to open a second seller account because of the need of change in legal entity with different country of origin. I found you had voted McLovinSellinOnAmz reply in another thread as the most helpful one, I believe it means it is the proper way to handle it. Could you advise if I should use different email address, telephone etc to register for the second seller account or use the same ones as what Mclovin did?
