Anyone else being asked to prove they can use their own barcodes in a Letter of Affiliation

I would say in the last 4 months we have had this absurd response from a few of our letters stating that we rejected because have to prove that the manufacturer is authorised to use their own barcodes on their own products.

Every single time we got back to a manufacturer and ask them for this information they laughed at us because obviously the entire point of the contractual agreement between the brand and manufacturer is that they are officially licensed to create products under the brand name. In some contract it even states that they are consumable goods... how are they meant to be purchased without a barcode.

My other issue is obviously these documents take time to gather and template. I have put it to Amazon several times that no where in the guidelines does it state that we need to outline this. A few times I have been sent a link to guidelines but still this information is not included. Just wanted to see if anyone knows a way around this, correct teams, correct things to say?
