Some random person has filed a copyright infringement complaint on a ceramic flower vase we resell in our store. Amazon has removed our listing and asked us to submit a Letter of Authorization (LoA) from the copyright owner.

Such fake complaints are increasing day by day and people with malicious intent are creating problems for small and honest businesses.

Every body knows that ceramic products are manufactured in Khurja, Uttar Pradesh. All the resellers buy their products from factories in Khurja and resell them on the online platforms. There is no copyright on these products.

Amazon simply remove the listing and asks us to show LoA -- but when we asked if Amazon has asked the complainant to submit their copyright proof - they don't answer at all.

That way Amazon will force small and honest businesses to shut their online stores.
