I don't know what to do anymore. My ASIN is gone.
Well, I am a new seller and had a listing up, Brand Approved, and was ready to build once I got my inventory en route. One day I noticed it was placed into an entirely wrong category, so I was told that I could delete the listing (which had inventory checked in btw if that matters) and then wait 24 hours and relist. I waited 48 hours just to be safe, went to relist and my ASIN is gone, no longer in the catalog. That said, it still shows (with the correct SKU and FNSKU) in Stranded Inventory.
At this point, whenever I try to contact Seller Support I get a variety of "answers", none of which help. I have somehow lost Brand Approval, I assume due to trying to get back into a different catagory, but the deny Brand Approval due to my having used a UPC for this product (over a year ago).
If I try a flat file, I get an error - Error code 8058 - The minimum requirements have not been met. Required fields are missing data. All fields are filled in. I then thought this was due to the incorrect category using a different flat file than my other catagory and thus it was missing a field I didn't have to fill in. Nope, that failed as well.
I have tried Brand Registry, I have the info from USPTO, but I can't do that because I don't have an ASIN, which I can't rebuild due to the GTIN exemption issue... which fails due to the UPC (I'm told)
So now, I can do nothing. I deleted one listing and my entire brand is blocked from every action I can take. I have been down for two weeks and am at my absolute wits end. Does anyone have any ideas or has anyone heard of or experienced this? I have tried creating a new listing via Stranded Inventory but that does nothing. I have tried completing my drafts that are stuck, those do nothing. I just don't know how to get my account back to functional and nor does seller support apparently.

What you are describing is very normal.
While there are many things to discuss...such as if your category will actually change...you can take immediate action to add your items back into your inventory.
I would recommend not using a product feed to add your product back into your inventory. It has given me many problems whenever I delete a listing.
I prefer to do it manually.
Go to Inventory -> Manage Inventory
Click on "Add a product" on the right hand side.
Scroll down and locate "I'm adding a product not sold on Amazon"
Search for your preferred category and begin filling in the relevant information.
Its extremely important that you fill out the exact ASIN and SKU that you see in your stranded inventory. A pop-up will appear that will ask you if this is your item. You must select that it is not your item(even though it is).
Fill out all of the required information (highlighted in red). Once you have filled out all of the information highlighted in red...give it a minute to see if it tells you to fill out anything else.
Once all of the red required areas to fill out are completed, click save and finish at the bottom.
Now you should go do something else for 15 minutes.
Once you come back to your computer, you should see that your item is now back in your inventory.
