Seller Account Deactivated | Utility Bill
Hi, I would like someone to support me with my Amazon account deactivation. My UK account has been deactivated due to a linked account policy violation. The “linked account” is my Japan marketplace, which has also been deactivated and requires me to submit a Utility Bill (see the notice from Amazon below).
I have submitted my business mobile phone Utility Bill with a matching Legal Name and Business Address as submitted in Seller Central and Companies House (see example below) and met all the document criteria (i.e. PDF format, within the last 90 days etc.) however my appeal has still been rejected (on Japan marketplace).
Can someone help me with this as I don’t know what else to do now? I have read of cases where sellers have submitted the same document multiple times and eventually been re-activated, however, I don’t want to risk getting ignored by submitting the same document over and over. How do I escalate my most recent submission for a second review?

How do I reactivate my account?
To reactivate your account, please confirm that there is a valid credit card on file and provide one of the following documents in PDF, PNG, JPEG, or GIF format. The documents must be legible, authentic, and unaltered and contain the required information. We do not accept screenshots. The name and address on the document must match the information entered in Seller Central.
– A business license if applicable
– A utility bill dated within the last 90 days for piped gas, natural gas, electricity, piped water, mobile phone, fixed-line phone, or internet service with name and address visible

So I can finally say that both my Japan and UK Marketplaces are reactivated!! Solution for anyone else with this issue, I submitted a virtuallandline utility bill with my business name and address and my Japan marketplace was reactivated earlier today and now my UK marketplace is reactivated! What I have gathered is that the details which need to be on the Utility bill need to match exactly the details you have entered in the marketplace which is deactivated and caused the policy violation and of course the utility bill needs to meet all the criteria Amazon list. I wasn’t able to get through to any Amazon support, even Jeff@amazon didn’t work
. Anyone going through the same issue I suggest keeping trying and don’t give up on your account. @The_Little_Shop and @Sequin thank you for your help!

They are asking for a personal bill in your own name and residential address which needs to be the same details as you entered under beneficial owner of your ltd

I have reviewed your post above, and understand that your account has been suspended as it has been related to anther account, which violates one of our policies.
There are several reasons why team may have declined to open your account. It may be because team were unable to verify your identity as required by applicable legislation.
Providing incomplete or inaccurate information is a common reason why verification may not be successful.
Always please ensure that the document meets the following criteria:
– The document must show the individual’s name and residential address.
– The document should be properly scanned, and must not be a screenshot.
– display the same information that matches info you use to register to sell on Amazon
– be clear and not blurry
– be in color
– be high-quality and unobstructed
– not be expired, revoked, or closed (if applicable)
– be authentic and unaltered.
Once your Japanese account activated you can submit an appeal from secondary account - Account health dash board - submit appeal.

The posts in this thread indicates your account was deactivated for being related to another account and you have still not been able to appeal this deactivation.
There are several reasons why team may have declined to open your account. It may be because team were unable to verify your identity as required by applicable legislation.
Providing incomplete or inaccurate information is a common reason why verification may not be successful.
Also, any alterations in the documents can be another reason for the appeal rejections.
Please always make sure that all of the documents are authentic and that the information you have submitted in Seller Central is correct and comprehensive so that verification can be done quickly.
Kindly review the performance notification that you received when your account was deactivated for a better understanding.
I urge you to resubmit the documents through case log by creating a new case.

Also @The_Little_Shop One of the responses I got from one of my submissions indicated that it is the business name that is required on the Utility bill. Where did you learn the information that it must be the personal name and address?

Hi,
I am trying to activate my account since a while now. It has been deactivated because I need to prove my identity through a video call on a given link from amazon that doesn’t work. I am trying every day to see how I can solve my issue but it just doesn’t work and don’t know how to get the proper link to be able to activate my account.
