Customer Service

I am incredibly disappointed with Amazon and their customer service. I put all my hopes and the little savings I had into investing in this Amazon dream. When I contacted customer service in the USA, I already knew it was going to be bad. By not paying good wages, they hire people abroad who can’t communicate well, even if they try. I had a hard time understanding the representative. Everything is very confusing when you have no experience, and the worst part is that there is no one who can help you. Customer service just passes the ball to other departments (who also don’t solve anything) and replies with the same email as the last person who attended to you. It’s a huge disappointment, and the best option is to look for other platforms.

You learned this too late but maybe others will see this and NOT start with Amazon.

Amazon is a 'do it yourself' site and NOT suitable for beginners. If you would have studied the Forum at all you might have seen the large number of posts by other beginners that discovered how hard and unpredictable the site is.

I would suggest starting with eBay where they at least protect sellers a lot better and in many cases cost less. It is not as easy to list items but it's worth it for the tradeoffs.

After a year (maybe less) when you have a bit of experience you can come back.

If you are on the PRO plan $40/month immediately downgrade to individual to save money and go into vacation mode to study the site.
