Stuck in Appeal Loop – ASIN Not Reinstated Despite Providing Documents

Hello, fellow sellers,

I need urgent assistance regarding my ASIN reinstatement process. My product contains 2% Salicylic Acid, which is legally permitted in cosmetics under UK and EU law (Cosmetic Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009), yet Amazon keeps rejecting my appeal, stating it violates their unlicensed medicine policy.

What Happened?

My listing was flagged because it contains Salicylic Acid.

I was asked to submit an MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet), which I provided.

Then, I was asked to modify the title and description to remove medical claims. I made all required changes.

After submitting the appeal multiple times, I still receive the same generic rejection message:

"The product has been identified to contain Salicylic Acid. Amazon policy prohibits the listing or sale of unlicensed medicines, prescription-only medicines, GSL (General Sales List) medicines containing aloxiprin, aspirin, paracetamol, or ibuprofen, and pharmacy-only medicines on Amazon.co.uk."

Key Points Amazon is Overlooking:

✔ Salicylic Acid at 2% is legally permitted in cosmetics and is not a medicine under UK law.

✔ The product does not require a license under UK cosmetic regulations.

✔ I have submitted all required documentation, including the MSDS.

✔ I have removed any medical claims from the listing to comply with Amazon’s policy.

What I Need Help With:

1. How can I escalate this issue to a higher support team that understands UK cosmetic laws?

2. If reinstatement is not possible, how can I remove the violation from my account to improve my Account Health Score?

This has been an ongoing issue, and I feel stuck in an appeal loop without proper guidance. If anyone has successfully reinstated a Salicylic Acid product, please share your experience!

Thanks in advance for any help!
