Seeking Advice on Solving Shirt Size Complaints

Dear Amazon Sellers and Support Team,

Hi there!

Since September, I've been facing some challenges with customer service as a seller of men's shirts. I've gotten several notices about customers complaining that the shirts they received don't match the sizes and fit described on the product page. Some say the shirts are too big, while others think they're too small, and it seems like the sizes don't match what's listed.

Here are the main points:

  • Some customers say the shirts are bigger than expected.
  • Others think the shirts are smaller than they should be.
  • The sizes don't seem to match the measurements on the product page.

So far, these complaints haven't hurt my account, but if they keep happening, they might cause problems in the future. I'm looking for advice from other sellers who might have dealt with this.

I have a few questions I hope you can help with:

  1. Have you ever had customers complain about shirt sizes like this?

2.What did you do to fix the problem?

3.Do you have any tips to stop these complaints from happening?

4.How can I make the product page clearer so people know what size to expect?

I'm really looking forward to hearing your thoughts and suggestions. Thanks a lot!

Hi @Seller_0rMrk1HSP4jHe

Thank you for seeking advice in the Amazon Seller Forums. I am a Community Manager and I want to provide you with some reference material that relates to your questions. Refer to the Product page style guides for general style information. Then, locate and download the Style Guide in PDF format found in the table on the help page Templates, style guides, and BTG for specific categories. Focus on the section in the style guide for Key Product Features for ideas around fit and note the 'good' examples of bullet points. Make sure your variations have good, clear bullet points as well. Add the size and color to the child product titles. Read the guide closely to get the most good out of it, and I hope this helps you improve the product detail pages in order to make it clearer to the buyer what size to expect.
