How to Opt out of Mexico & Canada monthly Amazon charges?
Hi,
I am on a Professional Plan and the monthly subscription cost is about $39.98 per month.
But according to my bank statement Canada, Mexico is charging monthly fees.
**PURCHASE INTL AUTHORIZED ON 04/05 AMAZON MX MARKETPL CIUDAD DE MEX MEX $7.86
**PURCHASE INTL AUTHORIZED ON 04/03 AMZN Mktp CA*1J987 WWW AMAZON.CA CAN $9.56
Note: I only want to pay the Professional Plan fee. How do I eliminate the other fees from Mexico & Canada. How do I get rid of monthly additional Amazon charges? Help!
Thank you.

The fee is the same, 40 for one or split among several.

The Professional Plan is a North America Unified Plan. There is no opting out. You can put the other platforms on Vacation Mode to not sell there, but there will be no difference in the charge. If you convert the Canadian and add to the US, etc. you will come up with close to the $39.99 per month.
You may also soon see Brazil added to this account. Put it on vacation and ignore.

The total amount is still about $40 (varies slightly with exchange rate fluctuations), but it's a bookkeeping nightmare.
Put the unwanted marketplaces on Vacation mode, then make sure that you have no listings (active OR inactive) in those marketplaces (don't rely on the fact that you've never listed there; Amazon may have copied some of your listings without your knowledge). Once you have no listings, the charges should revert to coming only from your .com account.

Hi @Seller_2u9YtLCgkzV3J,
Steve form Amazon here, thank you for reaching out in the Forums. With the North America Unified Account, your monthly Professional selling plan subscription fee will be allocated to each North American store in which you have active listings on your monthly billing day, and will be limited to USD 39.99 or its equivalent in total. For more information about Professional selling plan fees, go to Selling on Amazon Fee Schedule.
With a North America and Brazil Unified Account, you can conveniently switch between Amazon.com, Amazon.ca, Amazon.com.mx, and Amazon.com.br seller tools in Seller Central to list products and manage orders in all stores. This feature is not currently available to sellers with Individual selling accounts.
If you do not wish to sell in a certain store within the North America and Brazil Unified Account, you can delete any active listings and remove inventory in that store. You can then put that store into vacation mode.
Please reference this thread for more information.
Thanks,
Steve
