Help with terminating a test Amazon Seller Account
We set up an seller account under a personal email address as a test to better understand how the process works. We never set up a product for sale under that account. Separately we then created our "real" seller account and have been successfully selling our self-published books using that account - until recently when we received a policy violation. We believe that is because of the related test account. We requested closure of the test account shortly after creating it but it was only closed in North America and not in all of the other countries. I was able to deactivate the test account in those countries but not actually close them. after having tried every possible avenue we still haven't been able to completely terminate the account. How can we get this accomplished so we can get our real account working again?

you cannot have a “test” account- once opened an account stays in the Amazon system. You cannot close it now it’s deactivated. You will have to activate this first account and then delete the second one. This first account is the only valid one you can have. I’m guessing it was never fully verified.
