Good news! Your Selling on Amazon payment account has been activated?!
Good afternoon all,
I’m sure this has featured in another thread but i cannot find the thread!
Has anyone else received this account notification message from Amazon:
Dear Seller,
Good news! Your Selling on Amazon payment account has been activated.
We will get in touch with you if we need more information.

We have been selling here for over three years so why the notification today?! As i say, I’m sure someone else had created a thread on the topic but i cannot remember what the outcome of the post was as to why they had received a notification like the above after years of account activation…

Is it definitely from Amazon? we received a verification email yesterday requesting more information but it was a phishing email , using original Amazon content with our Amazon login email.

Just thank your lucky stars that you have been ‘activated’. The email message I received today said that to START selling on Amazon I must submit a utility bill showing my registered company name and registered business address. I have been selling on Amazon for over 2 years!
Unfortunately when I first set up my Amazon account I registered my business address as the address of the workshop that I work from. However all the ‘official’ bills and documents are set up to come to my home address, so proving my business name and address was hard enough the first time round and now I have to tussle with verification again

I got the same a while ago. It was three years to the day since my previous verification.
I assume Amazon are automatically rechecking all verifications after 3 years and if all is good then no new info is needed.

Get ready for a storm!!! I had the very same email 3 months ago after selling on Amazon for 3 years. Shortly after… Message at top of my account page Your Account is Under Review (Verify your business Details) I ignored it… A week later Account Temp Suspended. Took me 3 weeks before i could start selling again after uploading Bank Account That was a perfect match to my Selling account Name. UTR Number (Unique Tax Ref Number) All must be documents dated within 3 months. Took me another 4 weeks to get my sales back to the amount they had been prior.
