Can't figure out why my brand is specifically not allowed to sell on Amazon

Hello,

There are thousands of herb grinders listed on Amazon for sale. Literally thousands. There are new ones listed everyday, such as the Pax grinder: https://www.amazon.com/PAX-Grinder-Ergonomic-Aluminum-Medium/dp/B0CMSN5FM7

And there are brands such as Santa Cruz Shredder, that have been successfully selling on Amazon for years. For years.

However, whenever I try and list my herb grinders, my account gets suspended as drug paraphernalia. I sell almost the exact same device. I am clear with my intended use of the product. I don't use any flagrant language or give any reason why my products can't be sold on Amazon.

I have appealed the issue so many times. So many times. Every time I am told to supply documentation. And I do. I've sent over invoices, screen shots of where I'm purchasing some of the grinders from, everything I can think of. I show the registered trademark that shows it's intended for tobacco. I made a small manual with a clear description of its intended use. I have been doing everything possible just so I can sell on Amazon like all these other brands. It's simply not fair why my products get removed.

I was successfully selling for about a year or so. When my listings would get removed, I would appeal the removal and ask why to try and figure out what I am specifically doing wrong. I mean, look at these thousands of grinder brands that have been selling for years. Look at all these new brands! So why are my listings different than all these others? I ask. But I keep getting a boilerplate response. Until one day my account was suspended.

All appeals go nowhere. No one can tell me what I'm doing wrong. No one can tell me why these brands are allowed, but I'm not.

Today, I received the noticed the funds in my account will not be dispersed because Amazon says I have been acting deceptively. How is that fair? How is it fair to now withhold my money when you obviously allow some brands to sell these same products on Amazon, while preventing others.

All I want is fair chance at selling on Amazon like all the other herb grinder brands. Please, will someone reasonable look at the situation and help me out. I just want to be able to sell my products on Amazon like: Santa Cruz Shredder, Kingtop, Kozo, ZigZag. The list is endless.

Please. All I'm asking for is some support in figuring out why my account is not allowed to sell these products, while these other businesses have been given the OK.

Last but not least. I'd like someone to take a look at the funds disbursement that was declined. This whole ordeal is unfair.

I just want a fair chance. Allowing some brands to sell but not others is simply unfair.

Thank you

Drug paraphernalia is prohibited.

Just because you see many many sellers getting away with it does not mean it is a good idea or that you have the right to break policy just because others are.

They may be caught out, they may not. It does not matter to you.

Yes, because Amazon can swat them down only so fast; there are so many people wanting to violate the policies they agreed to when they signed up for their account that even if Amazon catches most of them right away, many will slip through the cracks.

Do you really seriously think that your "herb grinder" is NOT drug paraphernalia? What other "intended use" are you so clear about?

Then why are you calling it "Herb Grinder"? Why not call it what it really is, if it's not something intended to grind "herb"?

I know that in the past, in some states at least, if you were selling pot on the street, but actually packing oregano or other legal substance, you could STILL be prosecuted for selling pot if you were caught. Maybe the same thing here. If, as you claim, what you are selling is NOT a grinder for "herb", then you should not list it as such, as Amazon (and everyone else) will assume that when you state you are selling a "herb grinder", that what you are actually selling is an herb grinder.

So, are you selling drub paraphernalia? Or are you lying about your product and attempting to defraud customers who think that they are getting an herb grinder?

So post the ASIN of the seller "not breaking the rules" so that we can see what you are selling.

And I'll repeat; if you are labeling it "Herb Grinder", which everyone knows is a term for a piece of drug paraphernalia, and you are in fact selling something NOT suitable for grinding "herb", you'll probably be looking at a return rate of 50% or higher.

And I'll also repeat, if you call it an "Herb Grinder", even if it's not suitable for drug use, the bots will likely not get past the name, and will block you. If it's legitimately not for preparing drugs, the label it correctly, not under a deceiving name indicating that it is for grinding marijuana.

Here's a suggestion I thought of last night that might help.

Since you are selling a grinder that is a kitchen accessorie, why not create a bundle with some of the other kitchen tools you are selling. Match with a peeler, or perhaps a paring or other knife.

Obviously, if what you are selling is a kitchen tool (and not a drug tool), you have some other kitchen tools with which you could pair it.

Only an idiot would move into a category like "Kitchen" with only one product, so obviously you have dozens of other things you could pair it with.

Or else you're an idiot who thinks they can sell drug paraphernalia despite it being against the rules.

I look forward to seeing your listings of your bundles.

I keep several herb grinders in my kitchen; one for whole nutmegs, one for stick cinnamon, I have a heavy, cast iron manual grinder for things like rosemary, but this "pax" grinder, if yours is like it, is not an herb grinder, and none of the three herbs I've mentioned could be used in it, so clearly you are attempting to sell something completely different. Is it for drugs? Is it for pot maybe? I don't know, I'm not a pot head or druggie but this product for darned sure is not an herb grinder. So what exactly do you want from the group? You broke the rules, you tried to go around the rules and now you want the group to come up with a way to cheat that you haven't thought of yet? No. No one will do such a thing for you.

Note: this is for the Group, not the OP:

I have searched for years for the best nutmeg grinder and finally found it on Amazon a few years ago. If you are also tired of wasting your money on worthless grinders, check out the microplane manual spice mill. When eggnog season is back you'll thank me. And no, I don't sell it or get any kickbacks. Sure wish I did. Nice product.

This is simply not the case. Santa cruz shredder and others have been selling for years without penalty. Many others, too.

So you admit that your item is in fact an Herb Grinder; therefore prohibited Drug Paraphernalia? Or are you sticking with the argument that it's not?

Because you keep falling back on the "everyone else is doing it" argument, which simply is not valid.

That's a not a fair metaphor.

No, it's EXACTLY fair. They are breaking the rules, you are (attempting to) break the rules. You're the one that got caught at this time.

No. You are stating that a herb grinder is Drug Paraphernalia, which it is not. There are plenty of herbs that need to be ground. Why is it so hard to believe my grinder is designed for grinding said herbs.

No. see, my argument is that they aren't breaking the rules, and neither am I.

Rest assured. It is for pot. That's the intended use.

It's a spice grinder - not an herb grinder. Then they can cancel you for trying to sell "spice" fake weed without cause.

Again, look at Santa cruz shredder and others.

Again, show us the ASIN so that we can look. But I know you won't do that, because you know that your product is for grinding pot, and that's who you are marketing to.

So what other kitchen accessories are you selling?
