Buyer placed the order with a incorrect address, Amazon granted A-to-Z claim for “Package did not arrive”.

Hi,

A buyer placed order with wrong address, accroding to UPS "the apartment number is missing".

We messaged the buyer many times to get the correct address.

The order 113-8233070-7446610 was delivered to the address he provided on Mar 15th.

On Mar 16 at 12:50PM, he replied our message that "aparment number is 739", and then he opened A-to-Z claim for “Package did not arrive” at same time.

The address in his order detail is "739 S NxxxxxxxE AVE", the buyer clearly put his aparment number as the street number by mistake.

Amazon granted the A-to-Z claim on the same day and denied our appeal on Mar 20th.

If buyer provided a wrong address, it should be their fault, why seller has to pay for the mistake?

Any Mods can help please?

Andrew

If the A to Z is still open for appeal, try to appeal stating you followed Amazon's policy by shipping to the address the customer provided in their order. According to policy (include a quote of the policy), you are not allowed to adjust/change an address.

If you can still appeal, hopefully Amazon will come to their senses and fund the refund rather than taking the money from you.

Did you buy your shipping on Amazon? If so, you should be protected from the A to Z.
