Scammed 1243 USD at Amazon, Amazon won't deal with it and won't get back to me
I feel very disappointed, Because trading through Amazon still exists to be scammed, Amazon platform doesn't provide enough security for safe transactions. I was scammed on Amazon for 1243USD. Order ID: 112-8911515-5348244.
This being scammed has a lot to do with Amazon's rules, Because Amazon requires logistical signatures for large orders. Yet Amazon's system blocks buyers' real contact numbers, Isn't that a self-contradictory rule? AMAZON'S CONTRADICTORY REGULATIONS LEAVE BUYERS WITH OPPORTUNITIES FOR FRAUD.
We send emails asking buyers to provide real contact numbers. But the buyer had already bypassed the Amazon platform and so used a fake VM call to fob us off. Inducing us to ship.
My American friend has confirmed that the call is a bogus VM call. Unreachable network virtual phone number. IF IT WAS A REAL CUSTOMER, WHO WOULD PROVIDE AN UNREACHABLE NETWORK VIRTUAL PHONE?
Provide these virtual phones, and their ultimate goal is to avoid logistics signature delivery services. Facilitate later filing of claims. Scammers are very familiar with Amazon's platform rule loopholes.
FedEx Express: 774868220280,
Because the buyer provided an Internet virtual phone, Resulting in the FedEx guy not being able to reach the buyer. Causing a false impression of undeliverable packages to the logistics trajectory. If it was a real buyer, do you guys think he would make package delivery more difficult?
However, the buyer used a different cell phone number to contact FedEx to change the delivery address. Delivered to the locker designated by the crooks. Ultimately the scammer is the one who receives the package. Please check the screenshot of the successful delivery of the package.
Easily Dodge Signature Delivery Services, Perfectly exploited Amazon platform rule loophole for scams. When trading through the Amazon platform, we follow Amazon's platform rules for delivery shipping, but scammers use Amazon's platform rule loopholes for fraudulent purposes, So why is it that we sellers take the loss? It's beyond my comprehension.
Should Amazon the world's largest e-commerce platform, also allow scams to defraud sellers at will? This is a great blow and sadness to sellers.

First, you are not provided the number for a reason. The numbers provided are for carrier use. you should not be reaching out to a buyer.
Second, a signature upon delivery doesn't mean anything to Amazon. If you did not use their shipping, then you will always lose a claim.

Hello @Seller_RPLHHGhbdx9Z2
Thank you for posting your inquiry to the Forums and for providing that order ID number. I am looking into it and will respond with any findings.

Amazon's rule loophole becomes a means for scammers to commit fraud, However, the losses incurred were left to the seller. It's very disappointing to have a loophole in your own rules and have the seller take the blame for it.
What happened to me today could be what every other Amazon seller goes through in the future.
What is the point of trading through Amazon when you still don't get any security either?
The order was received, we shipped and shipped according to Amazon rules, and the package was eventually received by the buyer, so I just can't figure out what we sellers did wrong.
