Lost FBA Inventory
Hello - This is regarding my Case ID: 17107246481. My question is how long after the FBA shipment is received, the units are considered lost and eligible for reimbursement if the warehouse transfer doesn't complete and the units don't show under FBA inventory (not even as reserved) and are not available for customers to order? Below is my case history, the answers provided by Amazon support are not satisfactory so far and it seems they keep moving the goal post instead of actually looking for the missing units.
The shipment was received by Amazon on 1/9/2025 and the shipment status was changed to "Shipment successfully closed" on 1/23/2025. However the 18 units included in the shipment that were showing as Reserved disappeared from my FBA Inventory. Currently the inventory count is 0 for the SKU included in the shipment. I created a support case on 1/30/2025 and provided the POD as requested by the support person. On 2/3/2025, Amazon support responded that the units are on warehouse transfer and it can take up to 25 days to transfer so the calculated date is 2/4/2025. I checked back on 2/5/2025 since 25 days had already passed since warehouse transfer started. I was told by Amazon support again that it is under warehouse transfer and they referred me to the Inventory Ledger report. I had already checked the Inventory Ledger report for this ASIN and the last record it shows for this ASIN is from 1/24/2025 where it shows 18 units "In Transit Between Warehouses" but no record after that date. I was also told by support that after 25 days of the units being in warehouse transfer, I can start a reimbursement request. I responded to the case and requested reimbursement on 2/5/2025 but I was told that my case was being referred to the internal team for investigation. The investigation results came on 2/9/2025 but there was nothing new. I was told again to refer to the Inventory Ledger report and my units were in warehouse transfer. However, this time they said it can take up to 30 days for the transfer to complete. I contacted support again since 30 days had passed on 2/9/2025, they repeated that the units are in warehouse transfer and pointed me to the Inventory Ledger report that has no record for these units after 1/24/2025. On further request, support started another investigation. And after the investigation they provided me the same information that the units are under warehouse transfer. However, this time they said warehouse transfer can take 60 days.

Greetings @Seller_SvPLs7WZCfDGk,
Thanks for taking the time to post here, and apologies for the delayed response while our team worked to review your thread.
The 60 day timeline is typically the one shared by Seller Support from what I've seen, and is the one referenced in instances where an FC transfer may take longer than the typical 20-25 days. Based on that timeline, it looks like it that deadline should be coming up shortly. When it does pass, if the units are still not added to your inventory, reply to me here and I will review for escalation pathways. Again, apologies for the experience thus far, but I'll work with you to see this resolved.

Greetings @Seller_SvPLs7WZCfDGk,
Thanks for the reply. I would like to determine if there are escalation options for this shipment. Do you have the approximate date of when this transshipment began?

Greetings,
FC transfer started again on February 28, 2025 at MEM1 for 17 units and no update after that.
Thanks for getting back to me. After looking into this further, we will need to allow for this transfer (to MEM1) to complete, or for the extended timeline to pass, before we can escalate. There is a known issue with the Inventory Ledger Report and units in transfer, it's been noted in a few threads over the past 2 months and I have notified the internal team. This issue shouldn't impact the availability of your units, nor their ability to be successfully received.
Keep me in the loop with what you're seeing with these units over the next few days/weeks, and I will help ensure it is successfully resolved.
