Can I ship my FBM orders from a different address while staying somewhere else?
A dear friend of my is having surgery in a couple weeks and lives alone. We are both in Florida but she is 3 hours north of where I live. I sell products I've designed that are replenishable and fulfill orders myself (FBM). I plan to stay with her for a few days at a time - traveling to her for 4 days, coming home for a couple days, back to her for 3 or 4 days, etc., etc.
I can bring what I need to fulfill all orders with me when I stay at her house but my concern(s)/question(s) are:
1) If I just do "business as usual" while I'm with her, will USPS have issues with me shipping things from her place with my return address on them?
2) I see stuff in AMZ about other locations, but I'll be bouncing back and forth quite a bit -- so if I'm supposed to set up another address in AMZ, do I just swap it back and forth (PRIMARY SHIPPING ADDRESS) every 3 or 4 days?
Any community advice here? Would be much, much appreciated as I do not want to go into vacation mode while I'm at her place.

Sure, I have many times while on vacation. My products are small enough that I can fit 50-70 units in my suitcase and just use the hotels business center to print my postage lables.
I'm sure someone will chime in no, but I have done it in the past many times. I am FBA now so I don't have that issue but I never liked putting my account on vacation mode, too many hassles once you reactivate it.

You missed the absolute MOST important issue --
Does she have or has she ever had a seller account of her own? If so and you use her internet you will have linked the accounts forever. If you both sell/sold in the same categories (or even close to the same) you can both get suspended!
As @Seller_ImP1urpxemf0Anoted, other than that, it shouldn't be any problem at all. The local PO will appreciate the extra postage revenue going through their tills since they are credited with the scans there. Not like the old days where the address of the shipper was the one credited!

Since you are in the same state, I don't think USPS will have any issues. If you were going to a different state, there might be an issue with Zone priced parcels (noting for any lurkers reading the thread).
The issue that worries me slightly is if a customer complains that you are dropshipping because the tracking seems odd. I'll tag a couple of mods to chime in to advise if there is anything you need to do to prevent problems with that regard.
