Variation Assistance

We have 6 ASINs within out catalog. All are different colors of the same product. How can we create a variation of these items so they all show on one product page? We are the brand owner.

Hi @Seller_rLZae1ZKkNjRE,

I understand your concern regarding listing multiple variations of the same product under a single product page. As a brand owner, having a streamlined and organized product listing can significantly enhance the shopping experience for customers and make it easier for them to find the specific variation they're looking for.

It seems that creating a variation listing for your different colored products is the recommended approach. This feature allows you to consolidate multiple ASINs (Amazon Standard Identification Numbers) of the same product under a single parent product listing, with each color being listed as a separate child variation.

Here's how you can create a variation listing for your products:

  1. Go to the "Inventory" tab in your Seller Central account.
  2. Click on "Add a Product" and choose the option to create a new product listing.
  3. During the listing process, you'll be asked if you want to create a variation listing. Select "Yes" and follow the prompts.
  4. You'll need to provide the parent product details, such as the product title, brand name, and primary product image.
  5. Then, you'll be able to add the child variations (in your case, the different colors) by specifying the variation theme (e.g., Color) and the respective values for each variation (e.g., Red, Blue, Green).
  6. Complete the remaining required information for each child variation, such as condition, price, quantity, and product images.

By creating a variation listing, customers will be able to view all available color options on a single product page, making it more convenient for them to compare and select their preferred variation.

Additionally, Amazon has a dedicated help page on "Creating a Variation Listing" that provides detailed instructions and best practices.

If you need further assistance or have any additional questions, feel free to reach out to Amazon's Seller Support team or here through this thread if you have any follow up questions.
