25b Insect Repellent Powder

We sell an eco-friendly pest repellent powder that is exempt from EPA/FIFRA regulation via 25b and we have all necessary state registrations for any states that require it. Our product keeps getting removed no matter how many times we provide our documents, etc, and it is costing us thousands. I have called Amazon, chatted with Amazon, and emailed people with Amazons advertising team and there has been no help. What else can I do?

They just keep saying "Note: We understand your concern, Kindly provide the required details below for further possible reinstatement. Kindly update the pesticide_marking attribute with a valid EPA registration number or establishment number in the product detail page for possible reinstatement. IMPORTANT: We are unable to make changes to detail pages. If you are having trouble making detail page changes, please contact Selling Partner Support at: https://sellercentral.amazon.com/cu/contact-us"

It doesn't accept our exemption and we have tried putting a state registration number and 25b as our registration number as it keeps rejecting that we are 25b even when I provide them with the following information:

Our products ingredients are calcite and citric acid which are both on the respective EPA tables stating they are both permitted for the EPA's Conditions for Minimum Risk Pesticides and we hit all requirements for 25b on our bag including no incorrect claims, that we are exempt under 25b, our contact information, etc.

What can we do?

I don't know if this will help you, but the word "eco-friendly" is a forbidden word. Google for "Amazon New Restricted Keywords".

Good Morning @Seller_F6P23xNxudUjz,

I reviewed your most recent case with support (CASE ID ending in 8831) and it appears the support team has provided you with action items.

  1. Update the detail page (the support case has specific instructions)
  2. Submit the exempt document and update the pesticide_marking attribute with "fifra_registration_exempt" or marking_type: epa_registration_number, registration_status: fifra_not_considered_pesticide to the product details page for further additional evaluation.

I would suggest submitting documentation on CASE ID ending in 8831, showing your ASINs ingredients, along with any other information that would help the team reviewing your ASIN that it is exempt from EPA/FIFRA regulation via 25b (along with making the suggested changes to your detail page per support).

Please let us know if you have questions regarding the information provided above. Have a wonderful rest of the week.

Sincerely, Cooper_Amazon

They should get back to us within the next few business days. We appreciate and thank you your patience during this troubleshooting process. I will get back to you as soon as I hear from the support team.
