Multiple Selling Accounts - Same Product Category, Different Brands
I have looked at Amazon policies regarding multiple seller accounts but would like some thoughts about a scenario:
If I have 2 amazon seller accounts which both have 2 completely different brands, but sell products within the same category (home and kitchen for example), would this be considered a policy violation? The brands are both private labelled brands and will sell products under different ASIN’s but one sells round shaped garlic presses and the other one sells triangle shaped garlic presses.
My understanding is, according to amazon’s policies, that as these are different companies with completely different brands, and we are not simply selling the EXACT same product, there would be no issues. Thoughts?
Thanks

These days it isn’t commonplace for having multiple accounts to be an issue in itself. Amazon’s own guidance gives an example of wanting to sell two different brands, though they do show brands in different categories.
The real issue is maintaining good account health for all accounts - if one gets suspended then they all get suspended.

In the past, and I do mean past (!), the second account had to be for items in a different category, could not be same category, and also needed separate email, bank accounts etc…though the rules may have changed - have you checked out the Amazon help pages/policy ?
