So, guys - I recently had a return that UPS claims they delivered to me, but no, they did not.
Now, as we all know, if a buyer claims they didn't receive an item, it is instantly refunded. Tracking says it was delivered? Buyer signed for the package? UPS literally took an image of the package sitting on the buyers doorstep? Who cares - enjoy your refund, ye loyal Amazon customer.
Well, I filed a Safe-T claim, explaining that I never received the return - and it was denied within 30 seconds.
And this is after 10 years of refunding returns within 48 hours (usually less), never charging a restocking fee (unless it's a scam return), and otherwise treating buyers with kid gloves.
I feel so loved and wanted on the Amazon platform. I wake up every morning and run to my PC, eager to see how Amazon will be enriching my life today.

There's no way to win anymore. Photo proof doesn't really work the way it should. I've had photo proof that a package was delivered but guess what? It wasn't my porch. There still needs to be a better system all around. I think amazon has realized their system is flawed, they just don't give a crap. Seller takes a hit for a delivery person's mistake. It should never be this way.

Honestly I don't even try to do Safe-T claims any longer. I take them all as a loss. Customers lie and Amazon does not care.

post.this has been happening to me non stop. Had one that buyer signed for and waited 2 weeks to file a refund amazon auto refunded a 60$ order and I filed safe t claim showing the signed delivery and that it was delivered two weeks prior and ope screw me. Had another say item not delivered shows the Pic of the doorstep and that it was delivered nope give me the finger. Item not as described 3 different darn orders i won the first safe t claim showing my reciept the date and time I scanned item and pictures won that. Second time I did the same thing they denied saying she hadn't used the return label im like I don't care bout that you auto refunded her without proof ugh. Safe t claims are a joke I swear its pointless. Im farely new only 2 months in and amazon had made it miserable for me. Letting scammers get away with the bs.

same thing happened to me. Package was shipped to Mexico and delivered. Buyer said item was too big, an amazon auto authorized refund was processed. Buyer never returned item but refund was provided. I wasn’t allowed to file safe-t claim, so I created a support case. Amazon response was to contact the buyer and ask them to ship item back. Now why would buyer do that with $ in hand and item in possession. You have to be insane to continue to sell in this platform. It is a complete joke!

In our case, we use Freight LTL which is required to set an appointment with the customers and get a signature on the POD - But it still not working with the claims.
Our product is massage chair, and we are losing the product and money all the times.
Getting harder to win the claims now.

exactly the sellers here as we are, are mules, always a auto refund no matter if it’s fbm or FBA, they don’t care, the “safe t claim” is there just to be there, it always denies the claim after supporting documents. We are shutting down our store will not be here any longer, do the same

I have never felt this much stress selling on any platform in my life. I don't even check or respond to customer returns anymore its a waste of time as Amazon 100% sides with buyers, the amount of work involved in filing Safe-T vs success rate is not worth the time, and Amazon get paid regardless so why would they care, that is why there is no point them allowing us to communicate with buyers to resolve issues to prevent returns, because they get paid anyway. This is why Amazon believes they have good results for customer support - They believe they must be resolving most issues - the reality is we just give up fighting for the sake of our sanity and blood pressure.

This is Amazon's model to put all the responsibility on the seller. No matter what, the seller pays. Don't try to explain anything because there is nobody listening. Complete lack of seller support. They do not respect sellers and treat us like they don't Ebay is a better platform for me now.
