Amazon FBM Return Window
Hi all. We have a customer who initiated a return request. On our end it looks like they are outside the 30 day return window, however on their end amazon says they are within the return period. Actual delivery was February 22, return request was march 28. Just wondering how we can tell on our end if its within the window or not. If it is who is responsible to pay for shipping? Feel like we should not be out the shipping cost because someone changed their minds. Can we deduct our prepaid label from return price even when its within the window?
Thanks,
Tyler

I don't remember exactly how the window works. I think it might be 30 days from the last expected delivery date. For example if it said deliver Feb. 22-28, then they are covered. I could definitely be wrong. Plus buyer usually wins.
The payment for return shipping depends on the reason that they chose. If they claim "Not as described" or "delivered late" or any "seller faulted" reason, you pay. If they chose "no longer needed" or a "buyer faulted" reason, they pay return shipping.
