Build International Listings Tool and selling in the US

I have already used the BIL tool to copy my listings and keep my prices and stock in synch across all the European marketplaces.

I have now added the North American markets to my account and used the tool again. My listings have been created and my prices are in synch - but all stock is 0.

Ive just checked help and yes it seems that although the BIL tool will keep my prices in synch it wont keep my stock in synch in North America (only in the European marketplaces).

What use is that?

Ive already paid $47 to open a NA Pro account but unless I can keep my stock in synch its of no use as I’m not going to keep updating stock in NA every time I get an EU sale and vice versa.

Are you sure your prices are in synch because unless something has changed recently, there has never been any synchronisation between continents. Even though you can add USA into your Seller Homepage, there is no synch. It’s there just for ease of access. So I’m confused when you say the price is synched. H

Yes the listings have been created in my inventory for those products that were in the NA Catalogue already and prices are in synch.
The tool is supposed to keep prices in synch (at least it says so in the help) but it only synchs stock levels across Europe and not NA.

Copied from the help:

  • Creates offers from a source marketplace to a target marketplace where the same ASINs already exist in both marketplaces.
  • Synchronises the offer prices in target marketplaces based on the price you set in the source marketplace and your price rules.
  • Adjusts prices periodically to reflect currency conversion fluctuations in the target marketplaces’ currencies. The frequency of these updates might vary from daily to weekly. These updates will not show changes of less than 1%.

I was also surprised when I first added North America and was told by Support that the 0 quantity was “normal”. I assume this is to allow for sellers fullfilling from different locations for different countries. It would be nice if we had an option to synch if we wanted to.
As sim_0102 suggested, software could be the answer and it’s certainly something I’ve been looking into, especially as I recently added Australia and have the same issue there.
(Note to HarryL, the prices synched when first copied over but I don’t think they fluctuate with subsequent price changes in the source marketplace.)

Hi!

I am also in the process of setting up my Amazon.com, I synced my listing within Amazon.co.uk for Amazon.com, however, my listing doesn’t show in my Amazon.com inventory?

Please can you advise how to achieved this step-by-step? Would greatly greatly appreciate it!
