Campaign use of "+" Wild Card

From my understand - which it was working completely fine until the last couple of days...

If you ran a campaign for say - Broad - "+Dog +Bed" - the customer search term would have to include "dog" and "bed" in the search term.

Just recently (past few days) the wild cards are throwing completely random search terms.

Any explanation of this?

Sorry to hear about this unexpected keyword behavior, @Seller_KdIK1RL9rFdME- Danny here, and I wanted to check in to ask if you've seen this improve at all in the days since you created this post?

This piece of the relevant Amazon Ads help page talks through the use of the + symbol in Sponsored Brand campaigns in case it is helpful!

"In Sponsored Brands campaigns, you can add broad match modifiers to indicate words that must appear in the customers' shopping queries for your ad. Add a broad match modifier by adding a plus symbol "+" before the keyword. For example, if you use the keyword "+kids shoes" with a broad match modifier, then the ad will match only the searches that contain the word "kids." The ad may match to "kids sneakers" or “running shoes for kids” but they won’t match any shopping query that doesn’t contain the word "kids," such as “sneakers” or “running shoes.”

Thanks,

Danny
