I have always been eligible to sell a product and now I am suddenly not and it says we are not accepting applications at this time
I am baffled. This entire time I thought I kept losing eligibility for no reason. I have been selling books for over 4 years and have never had this issue prior to this year.
Suddenly starting end of Jan, I lost bubuybox Eligibility, first for a few days then it came back on its own and then lost it again a week later.
just found out that I am suddenly not eligible to sell what I have always sold and when I try to do an application again it says we are not accepting new applications at the moment.
HOW AM I SUPPOSE TO FIGURE THTHIS OUT??

when I try to llist A book it literally says selling eligibility that I am eligible to sell it new condition.
So how am I at the same time not eligible?

It's weird and interesting. Amazon has been updating their backend systems a lot recently. Maybe that has something to do with it.
Did you try contacting Amazon support again?

We have the same problems, contacted support. Of course no help, even got a call from them and the lady said that was the way it is.
I am convinced it is a bug, and a really big one.
It has been addressed in this forum several times and with tagging Amazon members, a deadly silence from them.

This happened to one of our products last year. It was a puzzle. All of a sudden it said we weren't eligible and they weren't accepting applications. Ultimately, I downloaded the flat file for the listing and found out that the Amazon bots had reclassified the product as a digital downloadable video game (either the listing data on the backend was hijacked, or Amazon reclassified it because it mentioned things like 'screen-time free activity' in the listing. You couldn't tell that this happened based on the typical listing data, it took looking at the flat file to see where it was.
So I'd take a look at your flat file and see if there is anything unusual with the categorization, status, etc.
I will say even after I figured out what was wrong, it took me WEEKS of calling Amazon constantly before I got someone on the phone who understood what I was saying and was able to send it to the right team and eventually it got fixed. And I was only able to get it fixed because I was able to walk them through EXACTLY what was wrong (had I waited for them to figure it out, the listing would still be dead). But it was a massive headache.

AMAZON claims they can restrict any item at any time for any reason as they please. It is all part of their grand scheme. Just like listings where they remove the buy box will likely never sell because the buy box is gone because Amazons data says the price is almost too high but not yet pricing error (By the way my prices are never an error). So if this were free and fair marketplace the small fish would be selling more and the big fish which sales are manipulated towards would be selling less. Best bet mark items down and sell out and move on you will die of old age before you get amazon to fix what they do not believe needs fixing.

Happened to a few out of the blue on nine of my items. I opened 4 cases and all gave the same generic blurbs about not being eligible.
I tried the chat option and got the same run around and after about five minutes of arguing they have an error the rep admitted the GL was changed from grocery to Fresh. they are all reinstated now.
suggest creating a chat and asking what the GL is. might get lucky.

Good Morning @Seller_flXNiJRw0gh3z & @Seller_lh5voBrhAtxT3,
Thanks for reaching out to us on the Seller Forums. I just wanted to check in with you to see if you still need some assistance with figuring out why some of your listings are no longer eligible to be the featured offer?
If you have a Selling Partner Support case ID, I can begin investigating the issue more thoroughly.
I also have a few help pages about how to improve your chances of being the featured offer and why a listing may become ineligible.
I look forward to hearing back from you soon. In the meantime please take care and have a wonderful rest of the week. ~ Cooper_Amazon
