Button Cell Battery Compliance and Amazon Selling the Same Product

I have a few ASINs Amazon has identified as requiring documentation proving compliance, etc. I have reached out to the manufacturer and distributors (this is a brand name product I resell), and thus far nobody has any idea what it is they are supposed to provide. Regardless, if it is an Amazon requirement to have such documentation in order to sell the product, wouldn't that suggest IF Amazon is selling the exact same ASIN themselves, Amazon should have the documentation the need already in-hand?
