Why should I answer that question for Amazon

Topic: Pre-Order Question - Response Needed

We often get customer questions, and as we specialise in the area, we are able to offer the correct response. My concern is that by answering the question for the customer, they then place the order with Amazon, as Amazon has the buy box. So why should we offer our expert advice to make Amazon even more powerful???

I know we are able to click "no response needed," but Amazon seems to be sending these questions through now as a required response where in the past it was optional.

you can probably find a setting somewhere to stop the emails entirely.

You are only getting them via automation by virtue of you selling the product (purchasers also get them)

It would be entirely up to you if you answer or not. It will show that you answered the question though you are right in the majority of cases the beneficiary would likely be the featured offer holder.
