"For your security, approve the notification sent to:" Not receiving notifications

I made an amazon seller account approximately 2 years ago to attempt to sell products here on amazon. I lost interest in the idea and canceled the subscription. Recently, I have regained interest in selling my products on amazon, but i'm having issues setting up a deposit method. When I attempt to set up a deposit method, i get the message: "For your security, approve the notification sent to:", followed my my phone number. I checked the account settings and my phone number and email are both correct and verified, But I'm not receiving notifications to my phone as I am supposed to. Anyone know of a fix for this?

also have face this issue as well, had contacted support but felt useless, they only tell you to contact your mobile carrier to allow their messaging to pass through which is impossible from here because the government mandated no hyperlink in sms text messages. However you can make the verification message go through by email for bank deposit info if you delete the primary phone number, first go to the any Amazon store website not seller central website> go to your account> login and security and delete primary phone number from there and when you go to bank deposit it will send a link to your email instead of phone number text messages

Since you are not receiving the notification you can try to remove your phone number and then add it to see if that fixes the problem. Follow the steps below and let us know if you still have the same issue.

Steps to Update Contact Information:

1. Log in to your Seller Central account.

2. Navigate to the Home page.

3. Click the widget icon in the top right corner of the Home page and select "Login Settings.

4. You will see your primary phone number and email address. Click "Edit" next to the phone number.

5. Follow the on-screen instructions to update your contact details.

6. Once the deposit method update is complete, you can re-add your original phone number.

Important Reminder: We recommend completing the action within 15 minutes after receiving the SMS to ensure a smooth process.
