Need Help with GTIN Exemption Issue - Unable to List Product Despite Approval
Hello everyone,
I'm reaching out for assistance regarding a persisting issue with my GTIN exemption and product listing on Amazon. Despite having my GTIN exemption approved, I've been struggling to list my product for the past week, leading to a frustrating back-and-forth with the Amazon Seller Support team.
Situation Overview:
GTIN Exemption Approval: I received approval for a GTIN exemption under the 'Beauty & Personal Care' category for brand.
Listing Challenges: Despite following the guidelines provided in the approval email (including brand name case sensitivity), I've been unable to list my product. Each attempt results in the system either asking for brand approval or a UPC code, which shouldn't be necessary with my exemption.
Category Selection Confusion: The process becomes particularly confusing when selecting the 'Beauty & Personal Care' category, which leads me to subcategories not mentioned in the exemption. I'm unsure where to input the 'product type' as indicated in the email.
System Recognition Issue: When I try listing without a Product ID, the system still requires brand approval and a UPC, contradicting my exemption status.
I've tried various approaches and ensured that all details, including the brand name format, are correct. However, the required fields for Product ID remain highlighted in red, and bypassing them leads to error messages.
I'm at a loss and deeply frustrated with this situation. If anyone here has experienced something similar or has insights on navigating this issue, your help would be immensely appreciated. I'm hoping for a resolution that allows me to list my product without further complications.
Thank you in advance for your time and assistance!

Good Evening @Seller_fgTmfqzDAqeXc, I wanted to stop by and check in on your thread. You mentioned that the GTIN exemption is approved?
Have you by chance seen the How to list products that do not have a Product ID (UPC, EAN, JAN or ISBN) Seller Central help page? I believe this section should be able to address your concerns:
How to add a product after you receive a GTIN exemption
Watch this video to learn more about adding listings after you get your GTIN exemption.
Depending on whether you are an individual seller or a professional seller there are guided steps on how to list your product below the video on the help page.
Feel free to reach out to us again if other questions should arise while you are attempting to list your GTIN exempt product. Have a great rest of the week! Cheers, Cooper_Amazon
