What type of product was it? Was it something related to the Coronavirus?

We have had the same and just wrote a POA
We refered to the following and the UK law
Fair Pricing: https://sellercentral.amazon.co.uk/gp/help/62551?referral=A2SZ5TTJPRBA4I_A1FMWP2RCQ90FH
You need to demonstrate your costs involved with the product to show you werent price gouging. give a breakdown.

Same problem here. We were selling 3 x 50ml SFP INVIRTU Hand Sanitisers for £8.99 even before Coronavirus Outbreak, we had to increase the pricing by £1 because supplier increased it by 30% and now we are facing account deactivation, when at the same time some sellers are selling 1 x 50ml hand sanitiser at £15.
Can anyone help me with POA please?
Thanks
J

We have had the same happen to us, ours was caused by an ASIN merge as the item we were selling was a multibox offer of 4 packs of latex gloves at below market rate and because of the ASIN merge we were lumped together with single box sellers creating an obvious price disparity which we got flagged for.
Typical Amazon, they cause the issue and expect us to fix it

How much were you selling it for and at what size?
In your POA include copy of invoice from supplier showing increased cost of product and in your POA include rough costs which made up your total selling price.

Ha Ha. I had a call today. My was for Horse Masks and Oven Gloves. Typical knee jerk reaction badly executed. This will be because Amazon was criticized in the press about price hikes. So they will have cobbled together a query to identify potential culprits. They have a mechanism to block over priced products so why do they need to ask for plans of action?

Look like form forums not helping for POA for new seller in amazon
thanks for all the discussion

Think it may be a new thing , like the trademark logo policy violations
that were wrongly triggered all the time.
Just had one for a laptop , told to lower the price , the sellers fee is £112 , if the fee wasn’t so extortionate , I would lower it , I wont be lowering it
