eBay v Amazon
AMAZON PLEASE TAKE NOTE - This this is how eBay are currently assisting its VALUED Selling Partners (and as a consequence customers) in these particularly busy strike ridden times.

But eBay are still allowing cases to be opened for non-received items and the advice if there is no tracking and a case is open to refund after 3 days or risk the case being escalated.
I don’t think any platform is great at handling this. eBay have however been more vocal on what they are doing to protect sellers. Customers do need confidence they will receive their items or they can get their money back if they don’t.

there never used to be much in it, but since the postal strikes Ebay all day long for me. I sell three times more on Ebay than what I do on Amazon I get three times more problems on Amazon than what I get on Ebay.

They still send these out for items that have been delivered though which is the problem when things aren’t scanned or sellers aren’t entering tracking numbers (to avoid ebay penalties)

I think the general consensus from the customer is that if you order anything now, you are more likely to receive it and be better protected by buying from Amazon.
FBM sales are well down on both channels but FBA sales seem to be holding up ok.
I’m still getting issues on both but I don’t feel like I’m walking on a tightrope with Ebay like you do with Amazon.
