How add VAT number to my account

I’m trying to add my VAT number to my account, in tax setting click on add VAT number - confirm address it then asks for country of origin United Kingdom or GB is not on the drop down menu so I can’t proceed.
Any ideas

So i withdrew my exemption, and it gave me a different option that includes the UK But now when i add my VAT number it says ‘invalid vat number’ ive checked the Gov website and it is valid and i have the certificate in front of me

For anyone reading this in the future, you have to withdraw your VAT exemption first
When you add your VAT number you have to put GB in the box ie
GB123456789
