Is EDD Mandatory? (Asking for a friend...)
Hi.
I would like to know if Estimated Delivery Date Reserve is mandatory for ALL SELLERS. And is the reserve always 7 days. The help pages suggest you can speed it up. Amazon seller support say not.
A yes or no would be greatly appreciated.

It’s there for all new accounts and I believe older accounts are being moved onto it if Amazon can possibly find a reason to do so.
Yes you can speed it up, but only kind of - it is always 7 days, but you can make the 7 days start counting quicker by using certain tracking, confirming shipment etc.
