Is Royal Mail Back to Normal?

I would like to take my listings off holiday mode, but not sureif backlogs are cleared yet.
Having lost nearly 3 weeks of revenue at my busiest time I need to start earning.
I don’t want to post if the system is still jammed. Does anyone have advice or info?

Only ever use Royal Mail and the last date I had sales switched off was mid October for a day.

Yes, there has been problems having to reassure customers that delays are just delays and not lost items but most post posted last few days before Xmas were arriving next day and the messages chasing delayed items fizzled away last week as back-logs were cleared.

I’ve still got things missing from mid December but I think an offer has been tabled and I’m not sure if there are any more strike dates set for Jan. After years of positive feedback and not a single A-Z, I’ve had two negatives and an A-Z thanks to these strikes!!

On ebay I set up dispatch to 10 days. It solved most of my issues and has not affected sales. Set up on amazon for 3-5 day dispatch.
If you are closing your business until the postal strikes are settled - frankly you might as well close down for good.
RM will cope fine with 2 days strikes per week - now the xmas rush is done with.

You should be okay at present because a lot of backlog stuff has now been getting through (we’ve had a fair bit received from stuff on Ebay). Nothing is lost and everything has (eventually) arrived. Items posted 5th / 6th December were a problem but later items, not so. There are no other strike dates currently planned so any remaining backlogs should be cleared fairly quickly. Take advantage of the calm whilst you can, would be my suggestion
