New listings with missing info in inventory and zero sales

Hi,

It’s been a while since I created Amazon listings. Today I have created 50 new listings with GS1 barcodes etc. We sell low value high volume stuff and would have expected at least a few sales in 24 hours.

I’ve noticed that in the inventory the columns for estimated fees, lowest price and buy box are all empty whereas when I have listed before they have all self populated.

Just wondered if this is a new common place thing, if others have had the same, or if there maybe some sort of issue?

Cheers

If you have just created the listing and have no PPC in place at a high rate your BSR is going to be none existent even if you listed 10000 listings you would still be lucky to get one quick.

I am not a big fan of PPC but find the Early reviewer one ok but you need to still drop price and be patient, the BB is going to come in time your fees will update after 1 or two sales if not using FBA usually.

Hi All,

We still have this issue. We have opened a case with Amazon Seller Support and are being told that our items are missing ‘category’.

"Your listing is not currently assigned to a product category. Therefore, it is not searchable on Amazon. To update your category, complete the below steps.

  1. On the Manage Inventory page, click the Edit button next to the product you want to fix.
  2. Toggle the ‘Advanced View’ to on
  3. Select tab ‘More Details’
  4. Locate the ‘Category’ attribute and click edit to assign a category"

When we follow these steps there is no attribute called ‘Category’!

We opened a separate Seller Support case and added 4 ASIN with this issue to the case and it appears that the Amazon customer support representative has fixed them. These 4 AINS are showing live on-site and now show a value in “Estimated fee per unit sold” and also “postage price” shows correctly.

Does anyone else have any help or guidance on this issue?

Thanks,

Tom
