Restricted Products Removal
Just received a notification for a few hundred products, mainly keyrings with the odd badge and car tax/permit holder.
The sale of genuine or realistic items which may be used to impersonate law-enforcement is not permitted on Amazon.co.uk
First time, you can see a bot has picked up ‘Sheriff Badge - Cartoon/Fun - Car Tax Disc Holder - Reuseable’
You can then see what their daft systems have done with some more disc holders which include the text in the title ‘County Flag Badge - Car Tax Disc Holder’ along with many keyrings which include the same (for example the keyring is Dorset Flag with text on it ‘Weymouth - Pride of Dorset’
The bots are probably not liking the text in the title ‘County’ as they have also removed from keyrings of places in County Durham, some of which are my very own photos ‘Hartlepool - County Durham - Double Sided Large Keyring BBSK2267’
But then they appear also not to like the text ‘City’ as some keyrings with those words in have been removed. for example ‘Letchworth Garden City - Hertfordshire - Double Sided Large Keyring Gift/Present/Souvenir BBS689’
Any thoughts on this ‘bot’ stupidity?

I manufacture and sell badged leather police ID wallets on my own website ( so I can restrict supply to verified serving police officers). However, for the past 4 years , I’ve also listed badged ID Wallets, on Amazon, for security officers , Enforcement Agents ( bailiffs) , Close Protection operatives ( bodyguards), as these are non law enforcement / private individuals , who are employed in purely civilian jobs.
Looks like the same “Bots” have taken issue with these products and have also issued the same threat to suspend my account.
It’s a pity, as Amazon have been a good source of additional sales. However, there is always Ebay!
