Some People who work for Amazon are just plain thick

I have a specific Asin which is being blocked by Amazon for copyright. It is a child asin which is part of a parent group of asins, but they have only blocked size 6. So all the other sizes are fine, and have exactly the same details except the size difference. The reason it is being blocked they say is because I am using copyright terms like ‘Amazonbasics’ and ‘Amazon’ and ‘Pinzon’ in my description, bullet points and title.
I have checked and I am not using any of these. Plus they are all about speakers, laptops, cables etc nothing to do with boots.
I have tried to sort this, but I just keep getting the same standard stock replies saying the same thing. Sent the messages to seller performance for them to help, they don’t even reply.
I called seller support who agreed with me and said they would contact this department but all I got again was the same standard stock reply which tells me nothing.

It is clear to me they have got the wrong asin, but they just will not look at it, to see their error.
Why else would they pick on one child asin for size 6, but leave the other sizes alone.

Last night, I amended every single line to match the parent exactly, just in case, and re submitted, and again same stock reply.

Anyone else have any ideas how to sort this as now running out of ideas.

See this ALL the time. I have now just assumed that certain departments are fully automated, using some kind of poor AI to reply.

Could you post the ASIN, along with the original performance notification to see what could be possibly wrong with the listing? Otherwise, no one will be able to help.

The trademarked terms mentioned are most likely just examples and Amazon is actually referring to the inclusion of third party brand names.

This new process using some half baked software is throwing up all sorts of stupid results. I presume if it handles hundreds of thousands of ASINs ok then Amazon don’t mind the '000’s of issues which sellers have to deal with via SS personnel who have no idea what is going on.

We must always remember the staff answer to the software, not the other way about so the first few answers they throw at us will be support of the “facts” found by the bots.

I have also noticed even the case of the words used in Brand & Title fields(i.e. upper or lower) is flagged as IP violation when not a perfect match - e.g. the bot sees Nike different from NIKE etc

I cannot post the asin as it is blocked, but I can post the parent, B07NKYDMFP
Below is the notification - Please edit the product detail page so that trademarked terms do not
lead your product to be confused with a different trademarked product.

Examples of unacceptable terms:
– “AmazonBasics speaker charging cable.” AmazonBasics is trademarked by
Amazon.
– “Wireless Amazon speaker for laptop.” Amazon is trademarked by
Amazon.
– “Cable similar to Pinzon.” Pinzon is trademarked by Amazon, and we
prohibit the use of “similar to.”

If you view the parent, others are selling size 6 fine, and mine is the same as theirs as we are all linked off the parent. But I cannot get Amazon to even look at this.

It is size 6 that is blocked, all other sizes, 3,4,5,6.5,7 and 8 are fine, all other sellers are fine, it is just me and this one size. But no matter how much I try, Amazon will not tell me what the problem is. When I email I get the same stock reply which tells me nothing, when I call they say they will investigate and next, get another of the same stock emails. This has been going on for weeks and I am now getting tired of it. The thing is as well, is that Amazon itself sells some of these, and therefore probably controls the text, etc anyway.

You will want to check with your supplier whether they are authorised to supply amazon sellers.

You will want a letter of authorisation or you risk also being removed from all related products.

It is Not Rhinegold as we are one of Rhinegolds top retailers and I already asked them and they have made no complaint. However, not shown in my listing, but is showing in the asin viewed to customers, is a bullet point which mentions ‘Velcro’. I know Velcro is a copyright term, but as it is not in my listing, why am I being picked on, when clearly this is an Amazon input. So I contacted Amazon to ask them if they could changed the Bullet point from the word ‘Velcro’ to hook and loop. They refused.
I have now referred the case where Amazo refused to change the word to Amazon who are blocking my asin and vice versa. However again, just repeating same stock answers that tell me nothing. I am banging my head against an Amazon Brick wall here

As mentioned, to one side of Amazon I have asked and they have refused without the usual proof etc, and the other side, telling them it is not in my power to change, I just get the same standard stock reply, so yes still guessing, cannot do any changes, and no one will give me details.
