Suspected Trademark misuse
I sell paintings, I encounter lots and lots of problems with the titles of my paintings because Amazon recognizes many words as TRADEMARKS even when I use the words in their dictionary meaning, for example from the last two days:
The title - Trafalgar Square, London (1) - Van-Go Paint-by-Number Kit was disqualified because of the word Trafalgar which is a trademark word....
The Tirle - Moab Desert (2) - Van-Go Paint-by-Number Kit was disqualified because of the word Moab because there is a company with that name.
No matter how much I try to explain to the support that it makes no sense and the use of these words is exactly what Amazon allows as the use of the word which is a TRADEMARK in its dictionary meaning, but nothing helps, just talk to the wall.
I have to constantly delete products just because of this.
What can be done???

Amazon is Systemically broken in their "suspected trademark violations".
Even though Amazon infraction messages state:
"2. An explanation and any evidence or documentation demonstrating how the listings do not violate our intellectual property policies."
Amazon seems to have no procedure to actually address this. Through shear persistence, we managed to get one reversal from Amazon, only see no change to the product ban and Amazon reverted back to the cut and paste "remove the word or show compatibility" responses that are completely unresponsive to the appeals we made. We have now had 2 of the brands we sell decide they are no longer concerned about their products being removed from Amazon as it isn't worth their time. One brand decided to disallow all of their products from Amazon as they don't want to deal with it anymore. This bad policy is going to hurt Amazon and the availability of quality products here. The cost of our time is exceeding the benefit of solving these problems.

We are going through the same thing, no issues with the listing till now. Contacted support, as you said copy and paste of the same responses. We ended up removing every word that they said was trademark misuse out of the listing

This just happened to us by using the word 'Hudson' but that is in our brand name, lol? So we can't remove.
How does amazon recommend a company like ours proceed?

this trademark stuff has gotten out of hand here...
I smell a class action lawsuit in Amazon's future

We get this all the time even on my grand daughter name. Do what they asked you to do and move on.

i am not sure why I got this post because I have no trademark issues and I sell mushroom porudcts for consumption not for hanging on the wall?

Hello @Seller_uZ9xtKUXAVuZT,
Thank you for reaching out on the Forums. I also wanted to thank the community for providing feedback on this topic as well.
As it has been some time since your last thread found here, and your last post in this thread, can you share what steps you have taken recently to address this? Are you still facing these issues on your account? If so, can you share the relevant case ID's here in this thread, so we can take a look and potentially forward this information to the proper teams?
I look forward to learning more and assisting you with this. The Forums community and I are here to support you.
Wishing you the best,
LeviDylan

I couldn't agree more. Amazon is unable to enforce its trademark polices. Many detail pages were removed in error but nobody from Amazon could help.

This is a sad, rather hopeless, end for many sellers and listings.

I have had many similar experiences with other Amazon policies.
Tier 1 support is worse than useless. They will try to answer you from policy (by copy / paste of a policy without reading or understanding the ticket or the policy) or they will send you somewhere else, usually to the wrong place and you get a useless answer there.
I've had some success calling for a listing being unsellable, insisting to speak to a supervisor, and then explaining the issue to that person. It seems insisting on a supervisor is how you reach tier 2 support. That group generally spends a few minutes understanding what you're asking for and filling out the forms correctly for whatever team actually reviews things on the back end. My success rate is still only about 50% and it takes at least an hour of my time but with emails back and forth my success rate is 5% and I spend hours getting nowhere.
